About

Bike Friendly ATL is an organization that promotes equality of transportation for cyclists through the use of memorials (Ghost Bikes), public events (Group Rides), and media outreach.
Ghost Bikes are used to raise awareness to cyclists and motorists alike by memorializing a cyclist that was struck and killed by a vehicle. Memorial Rides allow cyclists/members of the community the opportunity to commemorate friends or family members that have been killed in cycling crashes involving motorists. BFA’s media outreach utilizes social and news media to help call attention to these seemingly neglected events.
