Decatur Ride of Silence Details

Here are a few of the specifics on this Wednesday's Ride of Silence. It is FREE! The route is a 9 mile Police escorted, with lead and trail car with BFA cyclists helping get cyclists thru intersections safely. The ride will begin with announcements and a ROS reading of the list of fallen riders from this past year at the gazeebo behind the Decatur Courthouse at 6:40 pm. You may park in the parking deck on the corner of Ponce De Leon and Commerce after 6 pm, there are spaces on the square in front of the Waffle House and the Courthouse and beside the WH. You may also use the BikeLaw parking lot that is just 1/2 block from the gazeebo across from Decatur High School. I'll post several maps on the event page to help you navigate parking. The ride will begin at 7 pm with a minute of silent prayer at the Paul Taylor Ghost Bike rack at the corner of Clairemont and Ponce de Leon.
